Directorate of Revenue Information (DRI) has busted an organized gang selling foreign-origin gold smuggling, transportation by railways, melting and adulting illegal plants and secretly selling in the domestic market Gold, silver and Indian currency worth more than 14.13 crore rupees were seized and six people were arrested in this campaign Under the provisions of Maa Fee Act, 1962, overall, 8286.81 grams gold worth Rs 13.41 crore, 7350.4 grams silver worth Rs 19.67 lakhs and Indian currency worth Rs 51,74,100 seized.
