Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan, PVSM, AVSM, NM has taken charge of Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Western Navy Command in a formal parade held in Mumbai on 30 May 2026. Earlier, he worked as Deputy Chief of Navy Staff at Navy Headquarters, New Delhi. He paid tribute to the brave who sacrificed the supreme sacrifice in service of the nation at Pride Pillar, Navy Dockyard, Mumbai on the occasion of taking charge.
