IMA Ludhiana celebrated Van Mahotsav Month at IMA House. Dr. Pritpal Singh, President IMA Ludhiana welcomed all and said that plants exhale, what we inhale. We should be thankful to the trees for every breath we take. Planting trees is the need of the hour, we need to take care of our planet sensibly for the human race to survive.

Dr. Manoj Sobti, Member Punjab Medical Council expressed the views that the ecosystem of our planet is of vital importance. We should teach people to come forward for planting trees, waste management, harvesting rain water and judicious use of our limited resources.

Dr. Rohit Rampal, Secretary IMA Ludhiana informed that the Van Mahotsav program started with planting trees in lawns and also discussed that IMA should be organising Environmental Camps to inform people about our environment.

Dr Sunil Katyal president IMA Punjab appreciated the work done by IMA chapter and urged all other branches to take initiative to help the ecosystem to revive
