Bathinda, June 8: Under the Punjab Government’s flagship “Mission Clean Punjab, Proud Punjab” campaign, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Lovjeet Kalsi conducted an early morning field inspection at 6 AM across various parts of Bathinda city to review sanitation arrangements, waste management, and civic amenities. During the visit, the Commissioner interacted with residents, listened to their grievances, and ensured on-the-spot resolution of several public issues. He emphasized that senior Municipal Corporation officials will carry out daily field inspections to ensure prompt redressal of civic complaints and maintain cleanliness standards across the city. The Municipal Corporation has deployed engineers and sanitation officials across eight city zones to strengthen sanitation services, improve waste disposal systems, repair civic infrastructure, and maintain street lighting. Officials have also been directed to ensure staff attendance and complete priority works within stipulated timelines. Appealing to residents, Commissioner Lovjeet Kalsi urged citizens to cooperate in keeping Bathinda clean and avoid littering in public places.
