‘Safar Dar Safar', a book written by Dr. Arvinder Singh Bhalla, the Principal of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Ludhiana, was released today by Rajya Sabha member Padma Shri Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal. On this occasion, Balbir Singh Seechewal shared his ideas about this book and mentioned how vital it is for everyone to adjust their perspective about people and things in the world around them. According to him, ignorance and a pessimistic attitude are the main causes of most of the problems faced by humanity. If people strive to maintain a positive and innovative viewpoint, they will undoubtedly succeed in all facets of their lives. He praised Dr. Arvinder Singh Bhalla for the book and mentioned that the author had made a commendable effort to comprehend life's deeper significance and that the book is intended to increase people's understanding of moral principles.
 
On this occasion renowned poet and President, Sirjna Kender (Kapurthala) S. Kanwar Iqbal Singh was also specially present. He said that this book will encourage youngsters today to abandon narrow-mindedness and pessimistic thinking and to embrace optimistic, creative, and constructive thinking in life. It also helps them to dream big and set higher goals for their bright future. Such a book, according to him, is desperately needed in the present scenario. He expressed his appreciation for Dr. Arvinder Singh Bhalla's consistent efforts and stated that, via the characters Bujurg, Danishwar, Murshad, Murid, Shish, Gurudev, Fakir, Jagyasu, Sai, Vali, and Jogi, Principal Dr. Bhalla has provided very simple and straightforward methods of coping with life's challenges.
 
Speaking about his book, Principal Dr. Arvinder Singh Bhalla stated that the sixty-five short pieces of writings in this book will encourage people to face adversity and other hardships. These brief articles will also provide readers the much needed courage and motivation to live in high spirits. He particularly stated that the foreword of this book is authored by Padam Shri Dr. Harmohinder Singh Bedi, the Chancellor of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh. Dr. Bhalla also stated that this book inspires the next generation to pursue morality or idealism. He argued that it is extremely unfortunate that modern men/women are compelled to live under the influence of jealousy, pride, anger, narrow-mindedness, retaliation, fear, anxiety, insecurity, etc. Consequently, they're losing ease, charm, patience, honesty, and contentment in his life.  Dr. Bhalla expressed his gratitude to Dr. S. P. Singh, the former Vice-Chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar for his support and guidance. Here it is an especially noteworthy fact that Dr. Arvinder Singh Bhalla is fully dedicated to his research work in addition to fulfilling his administrative responsibilities. So far, he has written nineteen books and more than eighty research papers. He has also completed two research projects. On this occasion, S. Swaran Singh President, Sahitya Sabha Sultanpur Lodhi, Dr. Paramjit Singh Mansa, renowned scholar and poet Mukhtar Singh Chandi, Pal Singh Nauli and Shaira Kulwinder Kanwal were specially present.
